Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Roseo (https://roseo.travel). By using the site you accept them.
1. What Roseo is
Roseo is an independent editorial travel platform. It connects the places you have seen in films, series and books with real locations, and helps you plan a trip around them by linking to partners where stays, experiences and transport can be booked.
Roseo is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking platform. It does not sell travel services, does not handle payments and does not organise package travel. Every booking you make is a contract between you and the partner you book with.
2. Using the site
You may use Roseo for your personal, non-commercial travel planning. You may not copy, scrape or republish its content at scale, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms other people.
3. Your account
An account is optional and free: it lets you save your trips and come back to them. You sign in with Google, Facebook or a one-time link sent to your email address, and you must be at least 16. Keep your Google or Facebook account and your mailbox secure, because they give access to your Roseo account.
A saved trip is a note, not a booking: it does not reserve anything, and prices and availability can change. We do our best to keep saved trips available but cannot guarantee it, so keep the confirmations you receive from partners.
You can delete your account at any time from My trips. We may suspend or delete an account that is used to abuse the site or break these terms. If we ever discontinue accounts, we will give notice where possible. How we handle account data is explained in our privacy policy.
Posts in Social
With an account you can post photos and short texts about the places of the stories. You keep all rights to what you post. By posting, you give Roseo a free, non-exclusive licence to show it on the site, with the name you chose, for as long as it is online; the licence ends when you delete the post.
You confirm that you took the photos or have the right to share them, and that anyone recognisable in them agrees to appear. Do not post anything illegal, offensive, sexual, violent or discriminatory, anything that infringes other people’s rights, advertising, links, or personal data such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or number plates.
With an account you can also comment on posts. The same rules apply to comments; we can delete those that break them, and you can delete yours at any time.
Posts appear right away. Roseo reads new posts every day and may remove posts that break these rules or the law; you will see the reason next to your post on the Social page. To report a post, use “Report” under it or write to privacy@roseo.travel: we look at every report without undue delay.
4. Bookings with partners
Partner sites apply their own terms, prices, availability and cancellation rules, which always prevail over anything shown on Roseo. For changes, refunds or problems with a booking, contact the partner directly. Roseo is not a party to the booking and cannot alter it. Some partner links earn us a commission: see partner links.
5. Content and accuracy
Locations are researched from public sources and, where possible, checked on site. Things change: shops close, sets are dismantled, streets are renamed. Check opening hours and access before you travel. Many filming locations are private homes or businesses: please photograph from public space, respect residents and follow any signs.
Carbon estimates shown in the trip planner are approximations (about ±15%) based on published emission factors, provided for orientation only. Sustainability information about suppliers is self-declared by those suppliers unless stated otherwise and has not been verified by a third party.
6. Automatically generated suggestions
Itinerary plans, including the “refine this plan” feature, are generated automatically and may contain errors or impractical sequences. Treat them as a starting point and verify distances, opening hours and bookings yourself.
7. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, data and design created for Roseo belong to Roseo and may not be reused without permission, beyond what the law allows.
Film, series and book titles, character names and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Roseo refers to them for editorial and informational purposes only. Roseo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any studio, network, streaming platform, publisher or rights holder, and it does not use official stills, logos or footage.
Photos you take with Shot mode are yours.
8. Links to other sites
Roseo links to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
9. Liability
Roseo is provided as it is, free of charge. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, from inaccuracies in its content, or from services provided by partners. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer, or liability for fraud or gross negligence.
10. Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. The date at the bottom of this page tells you when the terms were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there.
