Ranger's House

Bridgerton's Mayfair is spread across Greenwich, central London and the great houses on the Thames. Three days take in Bridgerton House, the queen's palace and the halls of the balls.

The stops

  1. 1Greenwich

    About these stops

South-east London by the Thames. The red brick Georgian villa is Bridgerton House in every season; the baroque courtyards of the naval college play Regency streets. The grounds are free; the villa opens only on set days with a ticket, and the Painted Hall needs a ticket too.

  2. 2Hampton Court and St James's

    About these stops

Queen Charlotte's palace in the morning, then Mayfair's royal side. Christopher Wren's church holds the Season 2 wedding that goes wrong; the 1820s mansion beside St James's Palace plays the queen's rooms inside. The palace needs a ticket; the church opens outside services; the mansion is a government building, seen from Green Park.

  3. 3Ham and Osterley

    About these stops

Two houses west of the centre, not far apart: the Season 4 masquerade terrace at Ham, the Season 3 ball at Osterley. Both need a ticket. On November weekdays Ham shows its rooms only on guided tours (11:30 to 14:30); Osterley house is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, when you see it from the park.
