Ostia Antica village

Emily in Paris · Filming location

Ostia Antica village

In the story · S4 finale (Solitano), S5 (perfume launch)

A real filming location. The little medieval village of Ostia Antica, around the castle of Pope Julius II, plays Solitano, Marcello's fictional hometown. In the season 4 finale Emily comes here looking for him and meets his mother, Antonia; in season 5 the agency throws the launch of the family's new perfume, Muratori Paradiso, here. It is the old village, not the famous Roman excavations next door.
