Where to stand for the photo
Take the path from the National Trust for Scotland car park up to the viewpoint, about 15 minutes, and frame the whole curve of the viaduct; the Jacobite steam train crosses it in season.
Getting there
- Address: A830, Glenfinnan PH37 4LT
- Transport
- Train from Fort William to Glenfinnan, about 30 minutes, then a short walk; about 30 minutes by car on the A830.
- Access
- Free viewpoint, always open; the car park and the visitor centre charge and keep their own hours. The path can be muddy and the car park fills up when the steam train is due.
