Harry Potter · Filming location
Loch Eilt and Eilean na Moine
In the story · Prisoner of Azkaban (film 3, 2004); Deathly Hallows Part 1 (film 7, 2010)
A real filming location. Hagrid skims stones on the shore of this loch in Prisoner of Azkaban, and the small island of Eilean na Moine is where Voldemort comes looking for the Elder Wand in Deathly Hallows Part 1. For some shots the island was digitally moved into another landscape, so the view does not match the film exactly.
