Oratory of San Lorenzo, Palermo

In the story · Episode 7 (Palermo)

A real filming location. In Palermo Tom visits this small oratory, covered in white stucco figures, to see Caravaggio's Nativity with Saints Francis and Lawrence, which in 1961 still hung over the altar. The real painting was stolen in October 1969 and has never been found: the series used a replica, and a copy hangs there today.
