Calvary Cemetery

In the story · The Godfather (Vito's funeral)

After Vito Corleone dies in his garden, the family gathers here for his funeral, with the Manhattan skyline behind the tombs. During the burial one of Vito's old captains comes to Michael with an offer that reveals who will betray him. A real filming location: the cemetery is still in use, but the spot of the Corleone tomb is now an empty patch of grass.
