The Godfather · Filming location
Church of Sant'Orsola, Erice
In the story · The Godfather Part III (Michael meets Cardinal Lamberto)
A small medieval church at the edge of the hilltop town of Erice, with twin bells and a well in its courtyard. In Part III it is the entrance to the place where Michael, sick and tired of his crimes, goes to meet Cardinal Lamberto, a good priest who later hears his confession. A real filming location.
