The Godfather · Filming location
Old St. Patrick's Cathedral
In the story · The Godfather (the baptism); The Godfather Part III (Michael's honour from the Church)
In the first film Michael Corleone, the youngest son of the boss Vito, stands here as godfather at the baptism of his sister Connie's baby, while his men kill the heads of the rival families all over the city. Years later, in Part III, the old Michael receives a high honour from the Church in the same building. A real filming location for both films.
