Lambeth Bridge

Harry Potter · Filming location

Lambeth Bridge

In the story · Prisoner of Azkaban (film 3, 2004); Order of the Phoenix (film 5, 2007)

A real filming location. The purple triple-decker Knight Bus, taking Harry to London after he runs away from the Dursleys, squeezes between two red double-deckers on this bridge. In Order of the Phoenix the bridge is seen again from above, as Harry and the Order fly along the Thames.

Where to stand for the photo

From the Lambeth end, frame the red bridge with the Houses of Parliament upstream; the passing red buses do the rest.
