The landscapes around Hogwarts: the viaduct crossed by the Hogwarts Express, the waterfall of the first Triwizard task and the loch where Hagrid's hut stood.
The stops
1The Hogwarts Express
About these stops
The Glenfinnan Viaduct is the curved bridge the Hogwarts Express crosses in several films. In Chamber of Secrets Harry and Ron fly over it in the Ford Anglia to catch the train. The viewpoint is free, near the visitor centre.
2Glen Nevis
About these stops
The tall waterfall of Glen Nevis is in the background of the first task of the Triwizard Tournament, when Harry flies on his broomstick to escape the dragon. The path to it, about 1.5 km each way, runs through a rocky gorge.
3Glencoe
About these stops
On the slope above Torren Lochan, a small loch near the Clachaig Inn, stood the set of Hagrid's hut in Prisoner of Azkaban. The set is gone, but the loch and the mountains are the same.
