Damouchari Harbour

In the story · Mamma Mia! (Rosie and Tanya arrive; 'Dancing Queen')

Not on Skopelos but on the Pelion coast of mainland Greece. Donna welcomes her old friends Rosie and Tanya at the jetty here, and the women of the island end their 'Dancing Queen' run along the shore by jumping off it into the sea. The wooden jetty was built for the film and later removed. A real filming location, standing in for Kalokairi.

Where to stand for the photo

From the café terraces by the harbour, frame the little cove with its stone houses and the green hill between the two bays.
