The Hôtel d'Avaray is Philippe's mansion, where Driss comes for his job interview; look from the street. On the Senghor footbridge the two race with the wheelchair, and at dawn they talk on the terrace of Les Deux Magots.

Philippe waits for Éléonore at Le Nemours, under the Palais-Royal arches, then loses his nerve. At night Driss drives the Maserati up the Trocadéro, with the Eiffel Tower in the shot.

Philippe takes Driss up a mountain for a tandem flight: Driss is terrified at take-off, then enjoys it. The scene was filmed at the Col des Saisies ski area, in Savoie.
