The stops
1Savoca
About these stops
At Bar Vitelli Michael asks Apollonia's father for permission to court her: the bar still works and keeps photos from the film. Up the street, the church of San Nicolò on its rocky spur is where they marry, with the whole village following them.
2Corleone is Forza d'Agrò

Vito Corleone's birthplace (Vico I Roma)Forza d'Agrò
About these stops
The real Corleone looked too modern, so Forza d'Agrò played it. Michael walks past the church of the Annunziata, the boy Vito flees its square in Part II, and in Part III Michael shows Kay his father's house in a lane nearby. Look only from outside: it is a private home.

About these stops
Castello degli Schiavi is Don Tommasino's villa, used in all three films. Motta Camastra, on its ridge above the Alcantara valley, hides Michael and young Vito. At Taormina-Giardini station, Kay steps off the train in Part III.
