About Eiffel Tower

Gustave Eiffel's company built the tower for the 1889 World's Fair, and it now stands 330 metres tall above the Champ de Mars. Visitors can go up to three levels by lift or by the stairs, and the top floor is 276 metres above the ground. In the evening the tower sparkles for a few minutes at the start of every hour. The lawns of the Champ de Mars and the Trocadéro gardens across the Seine are the classic spots for the photo.
